COLD WEATHER SAFTEY & ELECTRICAL SAFTEY
February 10, 2018
We've all been in those situations where we lose power and are in a scramble to figure out how to heat our cold blooded friends, if you haven't you are one of the lucky few. Join us Saturday February 10th at Arcadia Mill from 2:00PM-4:00PM with guest speaker Chris Casey to learn how you can prepare for situations such as these. Between the cold weather Florida has been exhibiting lately and the severe weather we get on occasion it is always better to be prepared for the safety of your ectothermic companions. Chris will also be discussing proper electrical safety for a variety of reasons. As we know our animals require a variety of wattage heat bulbs and sometimes it can be a game of chess trying to acquire enough space to plug in all of the required fixtures. This can lead to severe issues that not all of us may realize at the time. Chris will be discussing the safety protocol us reptile keepers, enclosure builders, and rack builders can abide by.
